Humberto Diaz unveils new artworks created during his artist residency at the Bronx Museum at two locations: the Bronx Museum (2nd Floor North Wing) and the Andrew Freedman Home (2nd Floor studio).
The residency is part of the cultural exchange initiative Wild Noise: Artwork from The Bronx Museum of the Arts and El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, organized with El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana, Cuba.
Wild Noise: Bronx/Havana is a collections-based collaboration representing the first-ever museum-to-museum exchange between a U.S. and Cuban museum, focusing on art from the 1960s to the present. Artworks from El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes will be on view at the Bronx Museum in fall 2016, alongside a new installation by Humberto Diaz.
